Who you are contracting with
Any work you order is a contract with Electro Heating Limited, company number 12609754, registered office 7A Cecil Road, London N14 5RH, trading as Climate Shield London.
Prices on this website
Every price, range, calculator result and table on this website is an estimate. It is not a quotation and it is not an offer capable of acceptance. Prices are indicative of typical London installations and are cross-checked against published market ranges, but the price for your property is the written quotation issued after a survey.
Quotations
A written quotation is valid for 30 days unless it states otherwise. It sets out what is included and what is excluded. The price does not change unless the scope of the work changes, or unless something is found that could not reasonably have been identified on the survey, such as a concealed structural or electrical condition. Where that happens we tell you before doing the work and you decide.
Surveys
Surveys are free and carry no obligation. Where a survey establishes that the work is not viable or not lawful at your property, we will tell you and there is nothing to pay.
Permissions and consents
We check the planning position, conservation area status and listed building status for your address and tell you what we find, and we prepare the documentation a freeholder or managing agent requires. Obtaining planning permission, listed building consent and freeholder consent remains the property owner's responsibility. We will not carry out installation work where a required consent has not been obtained.
Payment
Unless the quotation says otherwise, a deposit is payable on booking and the balance on completion. We do not take payment for work not yet done beyond the stated deposit.
Warranty
Manufacturer warranties apply to the equipment on the terms published by that manufacturer, and are registered in your name on completion. Nearly all of them require documented annual servicing to remain valid. Our workmanship is warranted separately; the period is stated on your quotation.
A warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, by third-party alterations, by failure to have the system serviced, or by conditions outside the equipment such as an electrical supply fault.
Cancellation
Where the contract is made away from our premises, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days. If you ask us to start work within that period and then cancel, you are liable for the value of the work carried out up to the point of cancellation.
Refrigerant and regulated work
Work involving fluorinated refrigerant is carried out in accordance with the applicable UK F-Gas requirements, and electrical work in accordance with BS 7671. Certificates and commissioning records are issued to you on completion. Keep them; manufacturer warranty claims require them.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability is limited to the value of the contract. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
